IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. Unlike a traditional laser, which emits a single wavelength of light, IPL delivers multiple wavelengths simultaneously, allowing it to target a range of chromophores — the elements in skin responsible for pigment and redness — at once.

Where IPL addresses tone and colour, ResurFX works on skin texture and structural concerns by delivering fractional laser energy into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating the skin's natural process of collagen production over time.
ResurFX treatments are commonly sought for:
- The appearance of fine lines and early texture changes
- Mild acne scarring and the appearance of post-acne marks
